No. 4 of the Metal Marauders. Experiment "C" was the 3rd iteration of a set of tests conducted by the great robot minds of our time including Dr. Cycloptic. The goal was to build a robot that so thirsted for the destruction of the humans that it’s robo-will would keep it self repaired during a human retaliation. "C" Failed in the sense that it refused to engage in battle to keep itself alive. There is no known documentation for Experiment "A" outside of the test range daily records which only read: Name: Experiment "A" Date: 447465600 Result: Catastrophic Failure Experiment "B" is still held under high secrecy after its initial test which was deemed a "Success*" but required modifications which are still in progress. About meI am an artist for lack of a better word. I hate the term "artist" because it conjures up the vision of a holier-than-thou hipster type who makes up profound meanings for a blue canvas. Post modernism is rarely art. I’m not really an artsy person either. My wife studied art history and I enjoy things like that. I mostly subscribe to the "I may not know art, but I know what I like" philosophy.
I prefer terms like "Tinkerer", "Creator", "Maker" and "Builder". Constructive terms.
I like to make new things out of junk, bits, pieces and various miscellania. I recently decided this compulsion to build complex compilations of simple parts has roots in my childhood obsession with LEGO. My father made me a LEGO table from an old door and steel brackets that sat in our basement. I think I spent more time seated at that table bushing aside an ocean of coloured bricks searching for the specific one I needed than most people spent outside in their childhood.
